Biography

Humour at the workplace can address psychological safety, team dynamics, leadership effectiveness and client relationships. Yet it isn’t taught in business schools or corporate training rooms. That's a big gap. Because when you can make your team laugh, magics happen. People contribute ideas instead of sitting like zombies. Psychological safety and team dynamics improve. You gain respect and liking. And the work gets done fast, efficiently, and – best of all – happily.

Of course, humour alone isn’t enough. You still need strategy, analysis and execution. But with humour in your arsenal all those other weapons start working better.

Paddy Rangappa, a humour writer (The Hindu and DNA in India, The Strait Times and tabla!; author of Been There Bungled That) and speaker, has wielded laughter successfully in his 35+ years with P&G, McDonald's, and Pizza Hut.

He now teaches this to corporations through workshops and keynote addresses.
