Phanish Puranam

Phanish Puranam is the Roland Berger Chair Professor of Strategy and Organization Design at INSEAD and a leading global authority on how organizations function and evolve. His research focuses on organization design in the age of algorithms, examining the impact of AI, blockchain, and emerging technologies on how work is structured and coordinated. He leads INSEAD’s Organizations and Algorithms research program and teaches MBA and executive programs on AI-driven organization design. Phanish is the author of influential books including The Microstructure of Organizations and Corporate Strategy, with his latest book Re-Humanize exploring how to build human-centric organizations alongside AI. He regularly advises corporations and public-sector institutions, including UN agencies, on organization design and analytics.
